While she admits it may not be the natural instinct of human beings and that it does require effort, actress Scarlett Johansson feels that she and fiancé Ryan Reynolds will never stray from each other, WENN reports. Johansson feels that she and Reynolds are among the elite group of people who can actually stay in monogamous relationships. “Monogamy can be hard work for some people. I don't think it applies to everybody, and I don't think a lot of people can do it,” she muses.However, Johansson, as her past bears out, feels she can do it. On previous relationships with people such as Josh Hartnett and Jared Leto, the actress says: “I believe in finding a soul mate. I've always been in monogamous relationships. I would never want to be in an open one. It'd be too awful.” But the actress also admits: “I don't think it's a natural instinct for human beings” to remain monogamous. Psychology aside, Johansson and Reynolds – who announced their engagement in May – are ready to travel the long haul together.
